You can migrate from SQL to SQL express. But you will face severe constrains for doing so. The SQLExpress instance we deliver with our setup will allow you to start using Enterprise Alert without first having to deploy a SQL server. This is intended only as a starting point or for testing out Enterprise Alert. For any kind of professional usage of Enterprise Alert, we strongly recommend using a full SQL instance otherwise we cannot guarantee proper functionality of our Product.
Main concerns from Enterprise Alert perspective:
- Maximum relational database size 10GB
- Maximum memory for buffer pool per instance of SQL Server Database Engine 1410MB
